Cole Swindell - Treasure Island Casino
by Emily Huehns
Cole Swindell makes the fans swoon at his first headlining show in Red Wing, Minnesota at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino.
Swindell kicks off the night with his hit tune, "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight." However, he promises there won't be a lonely fan in the crowd throughout the night.
There wasn't a bad seat in the house to witness Swindell tear up the stage as he performed songs off of his old album, Down Home Sessions, and his new album, You Should Be Here.
Swindell gave everything he had into this new album and you could tell. There wasn't a single disappointed fan at this show.
As Swindell looks into the crowd with amazement, he shares with his fans a feeling he can't describe as he hears the crowd singing back the words he wrote.
Swindell shares a treat with the fans as he tosses out a medley of songs that he wrote for other artists such as Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line, that you can hear on the radio.
Swindell shortly dives back into his album with his song "Brought to You by Beer." However, any country fan would agree, there can't be a song about beer and not whisky. The crowd screams and raises their glasses as Swindell plays another crowd favorite, "You Ain't Worth the Whisky."
As the country singer tells the crowd he will never forget Minnesota if we don't forget about him, he lights up the stage with another well known song, "Middle of a Memory."
Looking around seeing the fans sway and shout the words that made them fall in love with Swindell way back when, you could tell memories would not be left behind tonight.
"Thank you for letting me and my band be a part of your memory tonight Minnesota!" said Swindell. No Cole Swindell, thank you for leaving Minnesota with only amazing memories of a great show!
