Jason Aldean made a pit stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday to debut his newest release “You Make It Easy,” for the first time on network television.

The lead song is off of his eighth studio album Rearview Town, which was announced just five days ago to be released on April 13th. Aldean ”took the rough off of his edges” for a suave performance, exposing a muted roots rock groove that's a perfect vocal showcase for the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year. From his signature cowboy hat that disguised his face to the silky sounds of a steel pedal guitar, Aldean “showed them how it was done” with his slow-burning, amorous new release.

“You’re my sunshine in the darkest days / My better half, my saving grace / You make me who I wanna be / You make it easy," Aldean sings in the chorus.

Of his singles, twelve have reached number one on the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts. The song is expected to be part of his summer trek, The High Noon Neon Tour, which will feature major artists such as Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina as special guests.
