Justin Timberlake’s New Album Has A Country Music Twist
One of the most famous pop stars of the last decade, Justin Timberlake, will be releasing his much-anticipated album, Man Of The Woods, on February 2nd, 2018, and is now hinting that the album will have a surprising and very welcome country-music influence.
When Timberlake, 36, who grew up in the country music capital of the world, Tennessee, visited Carson Daly on his radio show at 97.1 Amp Radio’s Morning show, he said that the Man Of The Woods album was a deeply personal album for him to make. He then went on to add that the album will not have a complete R&B influence, like his previous albums had, or be 100% country-inspired either. He made it clear that Man Of The Woods would be a mix of the two musical genres, and is what he calls, Southern American music, which is pretty cool, to say the least.
Always a fan of deriving inspiration from his personal life, Timberlake had said that the main inspiration for his upcoming Man Of The Woods album came directly from his wife, actress Jessica Biel, and baby son; as well as where he grew up in Tennessee. Always a fan of country music himself, Timberlake has always said that he was deeply influenced by where he grew up in Tennessee, where, as he had stated, there was amazing rock and roll and blues music coming out of Memphis, and incredible country music being made right down the street in Nashville. There is no doubt that country music surrounded Timberlake when he was a kid.
With his hair now a medium shade of brown, Timberlake is going back to his roots, both literally and figuratively. Exciting and fresh, Man Of The Woods will put Timberlake ahead of the game once again and is sure to be one winning album.
