In a solidarity move to assist the victims of the recent shooting in Las Vegas that left 58 people dead and some 546 people injured, Entercom Communications Corp (NYSE: ETM), a leading entertainment company, has announced a special philanthropic campaign targeted at providing assistance to the victims of the Las Vegas’ recent shooting. The one-hour long program will be broadcast on Tuesday, November 28 at noon, a date corresponding to this year’s Giving Tuesday.
The highlight of the program will include:
- Stories from the Mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman.
- Songs and interviews from notable Country music singers such as Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, and the rest. Others include Maren Morris, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, and others.
The invited artists will use the occasion to encourage voluntary donations to the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund. The donation will be used to alleviate the suffering of the victims of that unfortunate accident.
The objective of setting up the program is expressed by Pat Paxton, Programming President of Entercom. He said: “When the unthinkable happens, people come together. We come together to heal, to grow, to cry, to remember, and most importantly, to help each other.
