Fans Get An Experience Of A Lifetime At Aurora Nashville
by Emily Huehns
Jason Aldean joins Aurora live in downtown Nashville for a short interview and an acoustic performance. Aldean discusses and continues to celebrate his second win for ACM Entertainer of the Year.
For the first time in a while, Aldean took some extra time off to do some things he doesn’t normally get to do, like have a cookout on a Saturday night. After four months, Aldean started getting a little anxious to get back to doing what he loves most.
Aldean gets back into the game with his tour, ‘They Don’t Know’. This album, They Don’t Know, reflects the way Aldean grew up, in a small town, with hard working people, and a lot of celebrating. Aldean shares that he wants the audience to have a good time on this tour, so he tries to keep the slow songs to a minimum and keep the energy alive. Writing songs that Aldean can relate to himself has been a big part of his success, because a lot of his fans can relate to them as well. Taking risks and pushing the boundaries has given Aldean his sound, and has helped him discover the kind of artist he is and wants to be.
After sharing what has led up to his success as two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, Aldean shares an acoustic performance with a live studio audience. Performing songs from past albums and his most recent album. Stripping back the bells and whistles, the audience gets to hear the songs as they did the day they were written.
Aldean closes out this intimate performance with his title track, “They Don’t Know.” From some of the largest venues, to this being one of the smallest venues, Aldean leaves it all out on the stage no matter what.
